Penarth Learning Community is a key element of the Vale of Glamorgan Council's 21st Century Schools programme. The project marks another step in the on-going transformation of educational delivery within the Vale and comprises the provision of two new schools to include a new special education needs (SEN) facility.
We were awarded the contract to supply, deliver and install the loose furniture requirement following a competitive tendering process. We worked alongside the Main Contractor and school representatives, post award, to further develop the furniture solution - maintaining the client specified aesthetic and functionality whilst delivering significant savings against budget.
The furniture requirements throughout this project were vast, furniture for classrooms, atriums and specific furniture for SEN students were all provided to this 21stCentury ‘super’ school.
