We are pleased to introduce you to the University of Bedfordshire’s brand new state-of-the-art library at their Luton Campus! The building is the new home for the University’s library and learning resources centre; designed to meet the ever-changing needs of the Students at the University of Bedfordshire.
We were chosen to provide occasional seating, storage and accessories throughout the Library. This included furniture for the café area, the is a the perfect spot for relaxation after a rewarding study session. Soft seating and work booths in the main library which provide students with spaces for quiet and collaborative study.
The new library is open 24/7, this means sufficient lighting and power was required to provide a space for students to escape, study and be safe no matter what time of the day it is.
In total, the new Library includes 7,400 sq metres of space over 9 levels which is a 30 per cent increase on the previous amount of study space. A 30 per cent increase in book stocks combined with brand new IT and AV equipment highlights the University’s forward thinking attitude to study.
