We have a number of opportunities within our busy Design department for enthusiastic and creative individuals to carry out the following:

Responsibilities

  • Space planning and 3D visuals using Revit with a good understanding of interior architecture and design
  • Creating digital design proposals and mood boards in Adobe software
  • Assist with sourcing products and materials for the project (where required)
  • Prepare design specification documents
  • Present initial design concept using mood boards and 3D visuals
  • Creating physical mood boards
  • Colour scheming – finishes selection and full interior design schemes
  • Preparing presentations
  • General knowledge of interior architecture with the ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Carry out occasional building surveys
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes
  • Occasional site visits with Account Managers or Project Managers

Training can be provided where required on product and space planning. An understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, Indesign and Photoshop is preferred.

Desirable Qualities

  • 1 year minimum industry experience required
  • Experience in working with Revit or AutoCAD essential, Revit experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to demanding deadlines
  • Knowledge of product and materials, suppliers, design trends in the industry
  • Practical experience in Education, Office, Commercial and/or Retail Interior Design
  • Creative with an excellent eye for detail, strong sense of proportions and visual awareness
  • An awareness of building and safety regulations e.g. accessible design
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft outlook, excel, word)
  • Confident, organised and efficient when conducting tasks
  • Communication – effective communication to be able to convey and promote design ideas, specification and drawings clearly to clients and contractors on ongoing projects.
  • Organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously would be beneficial
  • Self-motivated and uses initiative
  • Positive attitude, team player and committed
