A look back at Orgatec 2018

It’s clear to see from our recent visit to the Orgatec trade fair in Cologne, Germany, why the event – the largest of its type in the world – remains the number 1 platform for trendsetting in office interiors and a magnet for exhibiting companies and visitors alike. This years Orgatec certainly did not disappoint with some 760 exhibitors showcasing their products and over 60,000 international trade visitors.


The BOF team included John Tovey (Contracts Manager), Dan Ball (Strategic Account Manager), James Dando (Capital Projects) and Simon Narbeth (Design & Project Manager). We have reviewed the trends they identified at this years show here:

To celebrate their centenery Casala showcased their Centuro chair in a glamorous gold finish along with a number of new product launches...

Fermob showcased contemporary outdoor seating and some innovative lighting we really liked...

It was great to catch up with Vitra. We were very impressed with their new 'Soft Work' range of soft seating. They have also introduced an innovative bench range with a flexible screen solution.

Buzzispace's new graphic panels and wall dividers...


We think the new NAP range from Loook Industries will be popular with our higher education clients. Dan found it very comfortable! :-)


Abstracta's stand featured their ranges of acoustic tiles and ceiling baffles which are a useful addition to open plan spaces to reduce noise levels...
