University of the West of England - Glenside Library
The University of the West of England’s Glenside Library provides materials and information serving the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences.
The Glenside Library refurbishment project was won by BOF through a competitive SUPC mini competition process. The refurbishment required an increase in both study spaces and computer workstations, as well as the introduction of new collaborative working and soft seating areas, to provide varied working environment for its students.
The study and computer spaces were increased to 50 using Vitra Joyn desking with built in task lighting, and relaxed soft seating areas being introduced using a combination of Kala lounge chairs and Flamingo laptop tables.
