Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone Contract Awarded
BOF awarded contract to furnish Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone for Coleg Gwent
The £33.5 million Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone is one of many education investments and initiatives to look forward to in 2012. Education is a top priority for Blaenau Gwent Council, which is pursuing an ambitious strategy to raise educational achievement and create a more vibrant future for local communities.
The Learning Zone will provide more young people with the opportunity to participate in post-16 education and training by offering a wider range of courses, and promoting increased involvement in higher education. It will also support efforts to boost Blaenau Gwent’s economy, by providing more skills locally and promoting business start-ups.
Coleg Gwent will be offering a very wide range of both academic and vocational courses from September 2012 at the new Ebbw Vale Campus (the Learning Zone).
BOF are pleased to announce that they have been awarded the contract to supply & install education furniture for this new prestigious campus.
