It's that time again! Time for us to give you the run down on what's been going on with BOF and our clients over the past week.
This week has been a busy one with project completions. Our Design Team have been out and about doing photography ready to update our projects page with our most recent installations. We visited The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, University of Nottingham School of Psychology and University of Bristol Innovation Centre. We also squeezed in some new showroom photography and a new Meet the Team photoshoot. Phew!
The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire is a world class environment attracting high calibre students, internationally renowned performers and teachers. The project which started with the tender back in April 2016 involved working with Architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios to provide furniture that complements the contemporary space. The installation across five floors of the new building was completed in August 2017 ready for the new academic year. We visited this week and were happy to see the building so busy, with each and every square foot of the building being maximised to ensure students get the best out of their time there.

Second on the list of recent project completions was the refurbishment of the Innovation Centre at the University of Bristol. We worked with Oxford Architects and the client to provide a flexible teaching environment designed to last a minimum of 5 years. One of the most distinct features was a colourful wall of meeting pods shown above.

Our showroom turned into a studio this week with staff volunteers modelling some of the new furniture pieces. This particular shot features the Frövi Ilk, HAY Uchiwa and Ocee Design Noah. The backdrop is a fully customisable acoustic wall called Fabricks. The new pictures will be up on the website soon so keep an eye out for some new faces in these shots with of course the friendly faces you've seen before!
This week we also visited the University of Nottingham's School of Psychology, situated on their University Park Campus. The renovation was carried out in collaboration with Bolthole Design and was ready for the return of the students at the beginning on the new academic year.
