New Severn Power gas-fired power station in Wales
BOF was recently appointed as the approved supplier for Severn Power. The installation will be completed in February 2010.
Severn Power is a new 824 MW gas-fired generation station at Uskmouth, near Newport in South Wales. Early works and site preparation have now been completed, and EPC (engineering, procurement & construction) contractors Siemens are progressing with the build.
The construction of Severn Power will see around 650 people employed. Wherever possible, these jobs will be in local suppliers and contractors who will be providing materials and services to the project. Once operational, there will be around 40 people employed at Severn Power.
BOF will supply a complete furniture solution for all the Management and Adminstration teams for open plan areas, break out areas, conference rooms, main reception and storage facilities.
